Pam Foreman Testroet

My first career began in 1973 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, working as a secretary for the Louisiana State
Legislature and the Constitutional Convention.
In June 1975, I was offered employment by South Central Bell working in their Baton Rouge offices.
After transferring to New Orleans, I enjoyed an interesting career performing assignments that varied
from Central Office Operations to Marketing. In 1991, I transferred to the Houma, Louisiana Business
Office to be close to my husband's work. In 1997, I retired from Bellsouth to spend some time with my family.
In 2003, I decided to pursue my long held dream of beginning a career in real estate. Shortly after
receiving my real estate license, I became involved in our various REALTOR® organizations on the local
(Bayou Board of REALTORS®), state (Louisiana REALTORS® Association) and national (National
Association of REALTORS®) where I have served as a Director on each board. I am also a member of the New Orleans
Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®. Additionally, I have worked on all of the organizations' various committees
and team volunteer activities and have held many positions. I have found these efforts to be both rewarding and educating. Currently I am
serving as LOUISIANA REALTORS® 2017 PRESIDENT ELECT, which is a big honor that keeps me busy and happy to volunteer.

The end of 2016 has brought many new and exciting changes to our lives. We purchased a new home in the Baton Rouge area and
also sold our home in Houma, Louisiana! These changes have enabled me to relate more to my clients after experiencing the home buying and selling process
so recently; AND moving to a new city too! I am now working at C J Brown REALTORS® , which is a Latter & Blum Company. Connie Kyle and her team have
been very helpful and have made me feel right at home. My primary local board is now the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS®. I am also a member of the
Women's Council of REALTORS®.
Since 2003, I have spent many hours of study and travel to acquire the following REALTOR®
ABR® Accredited Buyer Representative

GRI® Graduate REALTOR Institute
SFR® Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource

My best friend and husband, Bill, is very supporting of my career. He is my "rock of Gibraltar" and
keeps me grounded and focused on my career goals. He is very understanding of the long work hours
and travel away from home. He retired in December 2011, and is pursuing his hobbies.
Our BEST rewards are having two beautiful granddaughters in Dallas, Texas.
Ethics and education continue to be my top career priorities. I practice the "Golden Rule" in my
daily professional and personal life. I find it rewarding to be able to help people make some of the
most important decisions of their lives. I strive daily to ensure that all of my clients receive the best
service possible and always want to exceed their expectations.
