Born in Gretna, Louisiana, right outside of New Orleans, I was
just a couple months old when I moved to New Jersey. My father,
working for the oil company Exxon, was transferred many times. I
soon moved to Texas and then shortly after to Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia. When I moved back to the states with my mother and
brothers we settled in Baton Rouge, my mother’s home town.
I graduated high school from Parkview Baptist and then four
years later from Louisiana State University in Textiles, Apparel,
and Merchandising. After a short break, I then started school again
and continued on to graduate from the University of New Orleans
with a Master’s in Business Administration.
I have always loved to travel which might have stemmed from a
part of my childhood in another country. My favorite trip was when
I was at LSU and I went on a field study to China. It was the most
fascinating time of my life.
I also love spending time with family and friends as well as
meeting new people.
