I began my adulthood as a teacher of students with disabilities. In this position, I had the opportunity to work with many children who gave me a sense that indeed all things are possible. In this career, I learned much about myself and my philosophy of what truly matters. After several years as a special education teacher, I went back to school and upon graduation, I took a university position teaching courses in special education and school law. This position taught me compassion as well as how to multi-task.
When not working, I love to work in my yard and quilt. My favorite passtime, however, is scuba diving which I do about three times a year.
