Real Estate is not a job, but a lifestyle! It is a commitment to my client's best interest when purchasing or selling a home. My real mission is about:
- Helping people change the financial trajectory of their lives through home ownership, and
- Helping people obtain a place to call "home" which improves the quality of day to day living, and
- Helping people have a successful sale when it is time to move up, down or into their next home
As a member of the West Baton Rouge community for over thirty-five years I have gained a great sense of our wonderful parish and surrounding areas. It has been my privilege since graduating from LSU in 1986, to educate the children of our community in the Brusly, Port Allen and Point Coupee school systems. My background as an educator with a BS, MS, National Board Certification and Supervision have helped me to develop relationships with not only my students, who are adults now, but their parents, as well as faculty and administration.
I have served on several Community Advisory Panels for local plants, as well as worked with the YMCA auction on a yearly basis. For those of you who know our family, you know that for years we have built and sold homes, as well as purchased, improved and renovated historical homes in our parish.I retired from the school system in 2013 and worked as a corporate flight attendant for several years.
I pride myself on the relationships and friendships I have developed through the years. Real estate seemed a natural career choice for me at this point in my life. As your personal realtor, my goal is to research the real estate activity in our local area and market your home in a variety of ways. By so doing, I am able to sell your home for the highest price possible and in the least amount of time.
I am supported by a wonderful family which includes my husband, Owen Callicoatte, a supervisor at the Exxon Mobil Lubricant and Aviation Plant. My lovely daughter, who is the executive administartor of the Island Country Club in Plaquemine. My son, George Callicoatte who is an operator at the Exxon Refinery. My son-in-law Kyle Theriot who works in the oil industry in Lafayette area and has protected our country throughout the last fifiteen years in the Marines, the Army and also as a Ranger. Last, but not least I have two wonderful grandchildren: Rhett Lee who is nine and a future baseball pitcher for LSU and Savannah Rose my always sweet, kind and brave princess!
