I grew up in the Mississippi Delta-Cleveland, Mississippi. I attended Mississippi State College for Women for two years then Louisiana State University my junior year. I graduated from the University of Alabama. I spread my loyalty around. Being a merchandise major I went to Dallas, Texas to work at Neiman Marcus where I became a buyer in the Junior Shop.
I married a Delta boy then in 1964 we moved to Baton Rouge, La. where my husband worked for Interstate School Supply. I began my real estate career when our youngest son turned fifteen.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this career because of my love for people and helping someone find a home that is just perfect for them. I have been in the real estate business for thirty three years and still love it.
My hobbies are gardening and flower arranging. I am a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce ,Ikebana Chapter 43,Baton Rouge Garden Club, Garden Growers, Rural Life Museum, Foundation for Historical Louisiana, Louisiana Arts and Science, Magnolia Mound, Inner Wheel of Rotary. In 2012 my fellow realtors honored me to receive the Charles H. Dillemuth Humanitarian Award. In 2012 I was selected to be a Volunteer Activists by the Baton Rouge Speech and Hearing Foundation.
